So it's only two days until the wedding and I feel like there is still so much to do. Seriously though, there is not enough time in a day, and I know that tomorrow is going to be horribly SWAMPED with stuff to do. Today, Wanda gets in at 4, Konesky and Truman should get here about 3 a.m. I am so stoked to see them seriously I haven't seen them in forever and it/s gonna be awesome.
Stephanie volunteered to do the flowers and now we can't find white roses, I think I may just cop out and do red roses... they will still be super pretty. She is doing all the and corsages at her house and is going to do the bouquets here. I so cannot wait!
Just a few things that I have on my list today, I am kinda thinking about calling in to work since there is so much to do still. Some of these are pretty big things too. lol
Get Marriage License... just gotta pick it up.
Get the accessories to the people... we have stuff we need to give to Davey and April and stuff for Felicia and Jeff.
Try and find the flowers... you would be surprised how many people don't carry white roses with 60 cm heads!
Get the juices... Robert and I have forgotten for days to do this!
Get the cups, plates, and forks... seriously though we went through Sam's and still forgot to get these. ARGH!
Steam dress... I still don't know which veil I should use, MB says the long one but I am just not crazy about it!
I sent Robert an e-mail and let him know that there is a bunch going on. I have to say he has been such a trooper, seriously though, he has pretty well taken care of the move and the straightening of the house himself. I have been working then doing wedding stuff so my days and nights have been full. Now it's down to the wire and I feel like I haven't done anything for this wedding! ARGH! I know it's gonna be a blast and I can't wait for all this to be over, now I really understand why people ELOPE! lol.
It just seems like there is more to do than I have hours in the day and it all has to get done today because tomorrow my mom (don't know if she is still doing it) wants to send Wanda and I to a spa for the morning to calm me down. If you don't know by now I am a very high strung person, I feed off stress and it works for me, but she for some reason wants me to enjoy this weekend! YEAH RIGHT! :D Just kidding, I know it will rock! Anyways, after the spa thing I have to be leaving the house by 2:30 AT THE LATEST to get to the temple in time to do the endowments. 2:30 is cutting it close and I still have so much to do with that but it will work out, hopefully. I think I am going to more so be floating for the next few day and they are going to be such a rush I am not going to know what to do. After the endowments (which are at 5:30) we will head back home putting us here around 11 or 12, then it's up at 5 to make sure that I have everything ready for the wedding (which is at 10:20) so it's leaving for Columbia at 7:30 at the very latest to make sure and get there on time to get the pre stuff done. Then it's home around 2ish and a reception at 4. Then at some point in this day I am supposed to have fun and be happy... I am going to have to schedule that in too! ARGH! LOL!
The best part of this weekend is knowing that after it's over I never have to do it again until I have a kid of my own. Then I still have minimum 18 years before I have to even begin to worry about it. You know I wouldn't change a thing about this wedding even though it was done in 45 days and there is still so much to do, I know that it's gonna be perfect just because the perfect combination for a wedding and reception is probably, good people having fun and celebrating! Life couldn't be better!

Almost 5 days....
So the dress came. It is so beautiful and I can't help but smile when I think about it. My life feels like it is almost complete now. Seriously though, when I can share that with Robert I will feel like my life is full. I felt like such a princess in it, and I felt like I could wear it forever. I love this dress so much. I will be posting pictures but then I can't because Robert isn't supposed to see it. So maybe I will end up sending them out to people. There are a few things that I have left to get before my job is officially complete, well I have to get married to get that. lol The only things that I have left really is, get a marriage license, get to the temple and get married. The reception is all gonna happen no matter what. I know that i have to get a platter for the people to sign, and I have to get the cake cutter and server. Then I have to get a basket for cards and stuff. I am going to get the one that we have in the NEX that has the liner and I want to embroider the liner. I think it will be adorable.
The rest of the stuff is the food stuff. I am pretty sure that I am going to get food and stuff from Sam's club tomorrow or maybe Wednesday. I can't wait to get that stuff in order. We have the dance songs picked out and we have the ring ceremony stuff picked out. We are pretty well all in order, it's just a matter of making it all work out. I can't help being so stinkin happy right now. I am going to try and e-mail some pictures and I am going to try and get s few opinions on which veil I should use. I think the one that came with the dress is too long. But I will see.
Also new on the plate, we got Robert moved in. I got him in there and we got most things set up. Tomorrow MB and I are going to try and unpack and set up some more stuff. Then there are a few things that we need to get before we are completely set up, like a SHOWER CURTAIN! lol Robert is going to be forced to take baths for a few weeks. I am thinking that we may get a sliding door installed like at his house.
ALSO! I got the cake toppers, the one that is going on the top layer is a silver heart with a tux and gown on little hangers and on the second tier there is a little Mr. and Mrs. that is a silver reflective thing. IT IS SO COOL! I want to thank my MB and my MOM for getting them for me. It is awesome! What else is there... Hmm...
BRIDAL SHOWER! That was so much fun, lots and lots of thanks to Morgana, Nikelle, and Jilli for setting this up for me. I had a BLAST! Some part were a little odd and some parts were normal but they were all so much fun! Got alot of cool presents and some naughty ones they were the funniest. This is going so well....
day 6 is closing!

one up one down! 8 days left
Well let's see... got some ups and downs today, turns out that the cake topper that we ordered was not in stock so I told my sister to just cancel the order. But on a good note, my mom wanted to buy my cake topper so this gives my sisters and my mom the chance to go out and buy the cake topper. I am pretty sure that we are going to go with a momogram topper that says Mr. and Mrs. and it's mirrored or it's a silver heart with a tux and wedding gown. It's really cute. I will post pics when I know more. They are out and about doing that stuff in Texas right now. Man I wish I was home right now, oh well. I miss my madre. :( Oh well.
On a better note though, I saw the tracking info for the dress and they have my dress shipped and since it's an international thing it says pick up on May 15th. I am just not sure if that's when it gets delivered or when the delivery company picks it up to bring it to the house, either way I should have my dress tomorrow or possibly Monday because I know that no one delivers on Sunday's. Anyways, that is so dang exciting! I can't wait for it to get here. Plus I think I am going to drag Robert to the flower store and let him know exactly what I need and have him pick them up for me. I have pretty well decided on doing a boquet of 18 white roses, then I can do like two small boquets or just use the left over roses and petals to decorate the tables. So that is on my todo list for next week. MB is still doing the food, and the table decorations are all done.
Side note: i think Felicia is going to be setting up the tables on Thursday so if there is anyone that after institute that wants to help, if you want to just go to the gym and ask her if she needs anything that would be awesome! :D
So, the cake topper is changing, but the dress should be here (fingers crossed tomorrow!) Also I am not so skilled in the whole "bead work" for the veil thing, so I think I am going to cheat and just buy something pretty to clip in my hair that will sit above the veil, that sounds lovely doesn't it. Claire's here I come! Maybe I will see Kylee... :D

Day 12.... A G A I N!
So just a quick update... they said that they shipped the dress! Just wanted to add in how freakin excited I am!
Day 12... no dress but we have a topper.
So It's technically 8:48 on Tuesday May 11th for China. They said they would ship the dress on the 10th.... I haven't gotten a shipping e-mail yet. I kinda wanna cry. I bet it will all work out somehow though. Good new is we got the cake topper, I am stoked for it too! You have no idea. I also need to post a picture of m veil, call me a slacker, I completely forgot to do that. Only a few people have seen it. They all liked it though, I was happy when felicia saw it and thought I bought it, I was like WHOA I didn't know I did that good of a job for it to look like you could buy it somewhere!
Uh, the cake topper isn't a typical topper but it fits Robert and I so well!
I absolutely love it and Robert let me pick it. The first thing my mom asked was, what will the future in-laws think? I hope they will have a good sense of humor about it. I loved it more than life itself!! Ok maybe not that much but it was most definitely my favorite. :D
Anyways, I am thinking that maybe I will give it until tomorrow since the time is different. I don't know if they meant that they would ship it tonight, since it is technically tomorrow for them already. I am kinda grasping for any little bit of hope that it will get sent and it will get here in time. I don't actually know what I will do if it doesn't come in. 13 days... thinkin about a topper.
So we haven't actually gotten a wedding cake topper. I thought it would be simple to find but all the ones that we have seen are corny Wal-Mart ones. I was gonna use my sisters, but it's kinda funny how it sounds, she forgot how much she loved it so she said she would buy me another different one.
The question still remains, what type of cake topper should I get? I have been thinking about it a lot recently and I know that I need to get one. I have been thinking I want one of the cute monogram ones, or I thought about getting a joke one that has a guy playing a video game and the wife in the kitchen on the phone. I thought, now wouldn't that be perfect. LOL! I don't know how that would go over with Robert though. Anyways, so if I don't order one with MB I was thinking about making my own. I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard. A few options that I have been thinking about are:
1) Get a print out of a big letter P and trace it on wood and cut it out. I thought it wouldn't bee too hard if I got the wood thin enough. Then I could just invest in like some soft grain sand paper and decorate it. Maybe paint it... maybe some rhinestones and some paint.
2) Get like floral foam and basically the same concept, but maybe get like paper mache and cover it. The paper mache will make it thinner and lighter, then paint it... then I could do like ribbons and pins or something. I think I could decorate it lovely. lol
3) Get like a thin sheet metal and cut it out of the metal, maybe twice... but attach it with something to add dimension, then just super glue black rhinestones to it. I think that would be cute. Seriously though.
I don't know. I am not sure what I should use as my options. I am just kinda nervous about ordering it this close to the wedding it won't get here in time. It is a day under two weeks. This Friday is the definite day... we are filing for the marriage certificate. :D This is seriously becoming all so real. Now all I gotta do is get the dress here. I am too scared that it won't get here in time.
If I don't get the e-mail that it is on it's way this week I am going to scream (ok maybe not that dramatic) but I will be upset and I will just get the thing refunded and invest in a tea dress. I will be HAWT regardless. LOL!!!!!

53 minutes into Day 15
So, I know that I just posted yesterday, but I have news! I decided to keep the dress even if there is anything that i need fixed, which I think God sent me a message today that there would be something to fix with it. It's just a gut instinct, anyways.
I MADE THE VEIL! I wish I could figure out how to post pictures, but I have to admit that it turned out bomb! I am going to post pics and stuff once I get it completely finished but I made it and it turned out P E R F E C T! The only thing I am going to do is a little bead work. Since my colors are black and white and the veil is gonna be white, I was thinking about making a black bow out of beads. In my mind it looks cute so I am gonna try it and even if it doesn't work, oh well. I can just take it apart and figure something else out.
When I get it totally done I will be posting pics, well maybe... I bet I can do it through Robert's phone. I tried through mine and the bluetooth wouldn't connect. Also I made the garter and the only thing I think I will be adding to that is maybe a black bow on the seam line. The garter turned out really well. Just a simple elastic with lace and satin ribbon. It's the bow that will be harder. I think I may do a little white bead work in the center of the bow too (maybe just get one large gem... possibly blue to follow with the old, new, borrowed, blue thing.... hmm... but we will have to see about that. I think that this will help take my mind off my dress a little. The garter cost me like... I think maybe 2 bucks to make and only about 15 minutes to put together, and the veil took maybe 20 bucks and like 2 hours. One expense I didn't add in though is the fact that I now owe Robert new ironing board cover, SORRY!
Also, Nikelle and Jilli and Morgana, three awesome chicks decided to put together a bridal shower for me. I feel so loved. If you want to come it's Saturday, May 15th, 2010 in the Relief Society Room of the LDS church. If you need any directions or need any help getting there, let me know. Oh yeah it's at 7 in the evening. Other questions that have arisen recently, yes we have a registry, and at Target and a few things at Bed Bath and Beyond. I want to thank all of the wonderful people that have helped me out so very much recently. MB, you are so bomb!! Felicia, you have made so many wonderful plans!! Robert, just keep being you!! Nikelle, Jilli, and Morgana you girls are so awesome!! Ann, jeez Ann... banana head!! lol

So, I finally heard about the dress. Here is the whole story!
The dress people kept in contact with me the whole time. About a week ago the contact stopped. I know that I probably made everyone bored with my dress woes. lol, Oh well, So as I was sitting up stressing out the other night I finally had a stroke of genius. I got the idea that maybe I haven't heard from them because they already shipped the dress so they transferred their files to another department. Then I thought, maybe I haven't gotten a shipping email because I didn't pay for it. If anyone remembers, my paypal was being dumb and wouldn't let me pay for it. I put the money in Robert's account and we used his. So I logged into his ebay account and sent them a message.
Robert wrote me an e-mail at work and told me that in fact he received an e-mail from them and they said they weren't done making it. So Robert wrote them back and told them that if they didn't get back to us immediately with the exact status we were going to cancel the order and get our money back and let ebay know what happened. They wrote us back very shortly, and told us that the dress was going to be done on the 10th (it was supposed to be done on the 30th) and shipped to us by the 15th (supposed to be this week) I was so aggravated, so the question I had was whether to keep the dress and find someone to do a rush alteration if I needed it or cancel the order and chance not finding another dress. I am still a little torn, but I really loved the dress. I am hoping that I get the same good story that other people have, where it comes in and it is the perfect size. I am hoping. If not I think I can talk to one of the mom's in the singles ward and she can help me with the alterations.
I know this is a short one but that's ok. I will post another one later today. :D

Let's see... it's the 3rd so 19 DAYS!
So nothing much has changed and I am not gonna lie I am not sure what all I put in my last blog... so here is the part where I take the time to read my last blog so I don't repeat myself.

Ok, I am back, nothing really has changed, that's the sad part! I am so frustrated!! STILL NO WORD ON MY DRESS! ARGH! I am gonna be so disappointed if it doesn't come in. I will go onto e-bay and leave TERRIBLE feedback if it doesn't come in soon or if i don't get an email. I am so frustrated about this.
Robert's parents just got back from their trip to Colorado and they got alot of stuff from Gammy's house for Robert and I, and I am pretty sure that my sister and my mom are going to help me get like a new living room set, or maybe just a couch. I look at the rooms at Rooms-to-go and they are like $1100 and I think that is just way too much to pay for a wedding gift.
I put in to have a tupperware party and I wasn't too excited about it until I realized just how much free stuff I can get. lol! There is really some cool stuff but if I can get people to just order then it all starts adding up really quick. So even if you only have like $15 or $20 bucks that stuff adds up really fast. So that is gonna be May 24th at my house and if you are interested in ordering you can do an online thing and just e-mail me what you want with you payment method and it can still count towards my party. (There is my little plug about this, lol)
But we finally have the temple stuff in order and ready to go, all we ahve to do is get the marriage certificate and that is gonna be this Thursday! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

But we finally have the temple stuff in order and ready to go, all we ahve to do is get the marriage certificate and that is gonna be this Thursday! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

22 days... tomorrow... 21 AHHHHH
So it seems that time is moving faster and faster. It is so scary how much it seems that life is catching up with me. :D
SOOOO! I know that I posted on my facebook page that I got the recommend in check. It was an eventful night meeting with President Cooper, I had a blast! Funniest part of the evening, President Cooper was reliving some days and was asking how long Robert has been in the branch and it came to pass that he mentioned that he has been in the Singles Ward for about 5 years, then he made the comment, well I actually started in my early 20's. Cooper was like, HOW OLD ARE YOU!?!?! :D Naturally I wanted to die laughing!!!!! But all went well and he made a few awesome comments and gave some good advice. :D
Well the date is set, apartment is move in ready on May 17, gonna get the electricity up and running by then then it's Stephanie ready move in. lol. Got the temple stuff ordered today, it was a hundred bucks! GEESH, but I found out that my super awesome (future) mother and father in law paid for it. I am so stinkin excited for it to come in. Still no word on the dress, I am super stinkin bummed about that!
I am just so frustrated, they initially said on the order that they were going to send the dang thing within 20 days. So I was ready for this! Well about 4 days ago (maybe 1 or 2 longer) I got an e-mail that it was going to ship by May 10th. That is 30 days! Had I known in the beginning that it was going to be 30 days, I think that I may have thought harder about ordering this thing. Oh well they guaranteed me that it would be here in enough time. So I just keep on keeping on with my patience and I try not to bug the people too much. I JUST WISH THEY WOULD WRITE ME BACK!!!!
Anyways, so the closer the time comes, the more excited I am that my sister is coming into town. It is going to be like old times with the three of us here. I don't know if the missionaries are going to know what to do with them selves when we are all together. Nick and Truman are flying in too, so this is going to be an experience for all of us. Time is gonna FLYYYYYYYYY!

28 days... seriously... only 4 weeks
Wow, the time is passing faster and faster! The invites went out yesterday. Thank God for Robert I took care of the prep and he took care of the rest, I got the invites in the envelopes and the labels on the envelopes, Robert got the pics in the envelopes and got the envelopes in the mail. YAY!
The planning is still coming along, I forgot to post (well I don't think that I have posted about it) but MB has taken care of planning the menu. She came up with a pretty good list, I have it upstairs and if I was leaving for work soon I would go get it. She is planning on line, Chicken Satay, she says it's like chicken on a stick, and blue potatoes, they are like twice baked potatoes with blue cheese, and mozzarella stuffed meatballs, and other yummy things :D
Felicia got the punch fountain, the pic looked really cool and she showed me the set ups for the table.
I am probably going to buy some roses tonight and work on the bouquet and the boutonnieres. and mini bouquets for my sisters. I will probably end up getting two dozen now that I think about it. Gotta get a few other things too...
Also I think we settled on a cake too, well I think we have. :D I still have to get my sketch to April, which will probably be today. The cake is kinda whimsical, I am thinking about ordering a cake topper with out monogram. I think this will make a nice addition.

Day 32 is just beginning!
So today is day 32... it's only 14 mins into it and I am a little freaked out because there is so much that I still have to do!
1. Get temple recommend.
2. Get DRESS seriously I am so freaked out that my dress won't get here in time.
3. Get stuff for temple!
4. Finalize plans for decorating the gym.
5. Get invitations, I will hopefully be picking them up tonight and they will be in the mail Wednesday!
6. Figure out how to do the ring ceremony.
7. Get Robert's ring (this should be way higher on the list)
8. RELAX!
9. Put money on apartment, that should be today. :D
10. Get gifts for the bridal and groom party (if we have the ring ceremony)
There is so much more i don't even want to micro-manage this. We finally figured out the food, and I think it is gonna be really nice. MB is charging this up and I think it will be A W E S O M E! Got the candies ordered for the gift boxes, they are cute. Got the layout done that the gym is gonna be. Kinda finalized plans for the cake, gonna give the sketch to Davey tomorrow when we pick up the invites!
I seriously wasn't sure that this would come together, but it's all working out. Found out tonight that Heaps won't be there but T-$ and Kinsky will be there. I am also hoping that if I invite Wallace he will be allowed to come too! Everything is still kinda shady as far as the actual schedule I am gonna be keeping just because I am not sure how it all works and how much time it takes.
Just remembered... GOTTA GET THE MARRIAGE LICENSE! AHHH! Ok, maybe I will freak out a little... argh.... Step one to complete this is gonna be, RELAX!
I do have to thank everyone that has helped me so far, I can honestly say that without everyone I would probably not even started the planning process! I hope everyone saw and loved the engagement pics!

DAY 36!
This is all becoming so real. I think it is cool how just a few days ago I was like, eh I got 45 days, I got plenty of time! Now I am like AHHHHH I ONLY HAVE 36 DAYS! Well I have faith that the dress is in good hands and it will be shipped within the next 14 days, I very well could have my dress by the end of April. This is so exciting. Well bad news, mom won't be here or my step-dad, so the father daughter dance is scratched off my list at the reception. I am still contemplating the ring ceremony since we can't seem to settle on a best man for Robert. It's ok though. Things will work out.
But the wedding is still coming along, we visited with Davey last night and we figured out what the invitations were going to say and how they were going to be set up. I really like the idea that we came up with, I can't wait to see them all come together. I am not gonna lie I was kinda hoping to get them all together last night and ship them off today but waiting a few ore days won't be too bad.
We are going to visit with Davey and April tonight to set up the arrangements for the cake. I kinda have a good idea of what I want so I can't wait to go through and get this set up. YAY! Um, not much else is going on, already put that we got approval for the apartment and oh yeah, Bro Hayes has a car that I can hopefully get tonight! I can't wait and it's a cute little car, it's a DAE WOO! I have never been in a Dae Woo so this is gonna be new for everyone! Some ideas I have for the cake are....
Plus I have to add in, I found out yesterday that the other person I was gonna ask to be my temple escort is pregnant too... hmm... It's ok, I will ask someone.

Whirlwind of days...
So the last few days have been a whirlwind... when was the last day I was on here?!? How many days do I even have left?!? Let's do the math together! UGH! 39 days! I can't believe it... so the latest I know of... money has been accepted for the dress so that will be here! Hopefully sooner than later!
Found out today that Mom and Glenn may not be coming after all, and with the cost of tickets that means Wanda probably won't be coming either. That bums me out but well it will be ok I am just trying to make it through. We are still waiting for some stuff to get here from Texas. That will have some of the main things we are gonna be using. We are talking to Davey and April on Friday about the cake, that is gonna be fun I can't wait to get that situated. I still have yet to get his ring or to start getting the food. That will probably be coming in the next two weeks, just kinda need to get enough storage space to keep the food until the big day, plus I need to find enough ovens to help cook it. Gonna be simple finger food stuff so it won't be too bad.
Let's see what else is going on, We are going over to Rob's tonight to look at the pictures that were taken to hopefully pick some out for the invites and a few other pics just to print out and keep in a picture holder thing... for some reason I can't remember... oh album, duh. I am having trouble finding someone to help with my hair. I don't know how I want to do it, and i don't know when, cause it seems that we are going to be leaving G.C. at like 7 that morning so it is gonna be a L O N G day!
Which reminds me of the most important part! We set the times at the temple, as soon as Robert <3 texted me and told me what the times were I was so excited, so... May 21, I m going to the temple at 5:30 (have to be there at 4:15 so I will probably be leaving here about 2) to get my endowments, then on the 22, at 10:25 (we have to be there at... 9:15 I think is what she said so we will be leaving around 7) and we are going to be married. I am so stinkin stoked!
Felicia is still keeping me updated on the decoration ideas, they all sound really cool. I am gonna head over there after work on Sunday and check out some stuff that a lady in the first ward is letting us swarm through and keep. I think this will be mucho fun. Other than that, life has been going well, we are putting in the apps for the apartment tomorrow. That is gonna be super exciting! I really hope we get it, so pray for us!

Slacking with day 43... day 42
So yesterday was a crazy day, I worked all day then came home and started cleaning, completely took longer than expected. Then went over to Robert's house to do some planning with his sis in law. I must say, Felicia is a GOD send. Seriously I don't know how I would get this thing done and for so cheap too. I am so thrilled. That was the bulk of yesterday too....
now today on the other hand... I worked all day, sucked but it's ok. Then I came over to Robert's, as I was folding his laundry (don't even say it. lol) he was sleeping and his sis in law, Jill, and his bro, Ronnie, came over. We all visited for awhile, and then we went to get some food. Also Jill and Ronnie gave Robert and I (mostly me) a coca cola shirt to wear for our engagement pictures, tomorrow are the actual pictures and I am gonna be so nervous. I don't know how to pose, it is SCARY! But I think they will be awesome cause, Rob McD is taking them. I can't wait for them to just be over. I can't stand taking pics! lol.... but we came back after we got some dinner and Felicia showed me some of the stuff that she got for the wedding, to keep this in perspective.... she spent $38 at Michael's and $6.50 at a thrift store. That's it so far... this wedding is probably gonna be cheaper than I was expecting! YAY!
Now for the big news, I ORDERED THE DRESS! Yes, I am so excited this is actually coming together and this is the most exciting thing that has happened so far today! YAY DRESS!

Day 44...
So yesterday was a rather uneventful day.
We ended up going out and apartment shopping. We visited 9 different complexes and we found one that we loved, it had a spacious living room, the dining room wasn't huge but we are only two people we don't need a lot of room, and the kitchen was a full walk through. That is one of the things that impressed me the most. It was funny though I think that after the third or maybe fourth complex we visited, Robert realized that he isn't gonna get a HUGE bedroom. Anyone that has been in his room during one of the many rockband get together knows that he has a giant bedroom. It is probably double a standard bedroom in an apartment. So he was leery until he realized that is how all of them are. It was rather amusing to watch him plan out where everything would sit.
After the one that we loved there were two more that were just ok but didn't really compare to the one that we loved but we trudged on and kept looking. It was frustrating at points cause I was just ready to go and the apartment people would just ramble on. There were 2 or 3 places (we started with 13 all together) that we just scratched off immediately just because the area was ghetto. Turns out that most of Hanahan is pretty ghetto. There was one apartment complex that we just kept driving didn't even try and find the office.
There was one in Hanahan that we really liked, but it turns out that the hard wood floors that were in the model apartment was not in all the apartments, there is a whole story about it but seeing as how we will probably not be renting one of those I don't feel compelled to tell you. So I think it is decided that we are gonna go to West Ashley, even the apartments that we looked at in North Charleston were kinda bad. Well one, Breckenbrook, was very proud of their apartments, there was like a $1000 security deposit and they had a mandatory renters insurance. it was crazy. But this seems like it is one more thing that is able to be scratched off my list of stuff to do. We have a place that we are settled on and we should be submitting the paperwork for it soon. YAY!
After we went apartment shopping I went back to Robert's and while he was on the computer I aid down and ended up passing out. He didn't even wake me up before he left for school. So I slept from like 3:30-8 I was out like a light! So I missed alot of things that I planned on doing. Tom's Baptism, getting together with Felicia, but I think that I am gonna try and get together with her tonight. After Robert got home, we ended up going to see Jill and stayed there until like 12:30 just chatting. She is so cool! Anyways.... today starts day 43 and I hope to update tonight!

Day 45....
So Robert proposed about a week or so ago... maybe 2 by now but that's besides the point. Anyways. We set a date and for alot of good reasons we decided May 22. I know what you are thinking, that's only 45 days away, but we will make it happen.
I have to give kudos for all the awesome people in my life that are super helping me get this thing done. Felicia thank you so much for volunteering to help organize all this. Jill thank you for volunteering some of your decorations. Davey and April thank you for doing the cake and the invites, you guys freakin ROCK. (Robert's) mom and dad, thank you for having an awesome son that I love so very much, and for helping me with the whole temple thing. Mary and Neil, thank you for everything... literally... everything... you guys are my whole world! Wanda, thank you for just being you, and for agreeing to be my maid of honor... you are amazing. This means you have to come out now. lol
So I know 45 days until the apocalypse, just kidding, but on a serious note it is not nearly as much time as you would think. So far, I have an idea for the food, just need help with the purchase and the execution. I am thinking heavy hors d'oeuvres, something along the lines of meatballs in sauce, ooh maybe I can get MB to make her mozzarella stuffed meatballs. and the weenies in bbq sauce, Robert has been talking about them for days. Also, Sam's club has these little quiche, they are so bomb. I was thinking about getting a big fruit arrangement from Edible Arrangements but I think that might be a little more than I want to spend, also a veggie tray from somewhere, maybe Sam's or Costco. I kinda want to find some foods that can't some how mysteriously destroy the chest of my dress by falling and staining. I have a good habit with doing things like that.
The dress that I am looking at is a really pretty one, the only fear that I have is that I am going to order it and it is going to come in the wrong size or it is going to come in late. I am so scared of that. It's all good though I have faith that it will all work out. I have been pretty lucky with finding cheap things for the dresses. I found the temple dress I really like and it's cheaper than I was expecting.
I also have come up with some ideas as to how I want it decorated but I think I am going to wait a bit to cover that as the future groom has arrived and I need to discuss a few things with him. Ciao for now...
